The Actuator/Sensor Interface (AS-Interface) is a replacement for
conventional wiring systems, designed to significantly reduce installation
and startup times while increasing diagnostics. AS-Interface utilizes a
2-conductor flat cable to supply power to field device (I/O blocks,
encoders, and even safety devices.) Installations based on AS-Interface
